Jill Hanrahan

Mrs. Hanrahan has been with Meadowbrook since 2017. She has also been a preschool teacher at Creative School from 2003-2017. Mrs. Hanrahan graduated from Ole Miss in 1985 with a degree in Communicative Disorders with a minor Psychology. She also completed 9 hours of graduate studies in language impairment in children from the UTD Callier Center in 1991. In addition to teaching our AM program and Lunch Bunch, Mrs. Hanrahan also teaches WordPlay with Ms. Jill, an enrichment program to promote language acquisition for preschoolers. 

 

Mrs. Hanrahan's favorite thing about teaching at Meadowbrook is the joy she sees in each child's face as they come each day to learn! She also particularly enjoys the co-teaching experience unique to Meadowbrook. 

 

Mrs. Hanrahan has been married to her husband, Denny, since 1987. They have two children, John, who graduated from Texas A&M in 2015, and Georgia, who is a 2021 University of Texas graduate currently teaching in the Austin Independent School District. 

 

Mrs. Hanrahan is originally from Tupelo, Mississippi. Her favorite place on earth is the beach! She enjoys cooking and volunteering in her Sparkman neighborhood community where she and her family have lived since 1994.
